Are the Audio Files not Working?It could be that the servers are temporarily down. Please try again in an hour or two. All our audio files are stored on archive.org, which is a free service. There will be times when these audio files are not available because of upgrades to the server where these audio files are stored. Basic maintaining of the server will sometimes take these audio offline. If for some reason the audio files are not available, or you get an error message, please check back at a later time. Sometimes simply pressing your refresh/reload button on your web browser will work. Consider downloading the free Itunes program and subscribing to Dr. Couch's free audio files. It's easy to install and even easier to check for new uploads. Simply go to Itunes, download the newest version of Itunes. Install it. Then come back to our website and take the link below to subscribe. Audio SuggestionsIf you have a dial-up connection, the audio may "skip" and "stall". Poor sound/video quality, excessive buffering, and/or delays in connectivity are all usually caused by stress or strain on the bandwidth your ISP provides for Internet connectivity. Please understand that many Internet users may be dialed in to your ISP, which can cause congested lines and use up most or all of the bandwidth.
If the audio sounds too fast, too slow, too scratchy, or distorted, try changing the Performance settings in your player.
Are you experiencing excessive buffering?
Excessive buffering is the result of poor connectivity. Streaming audio is especially susceptible to congestion-related problems. You may be able to improve playback quality by making some buffering changes within your player:
