VERSES THAT FIT OUR DAY
As one watches what goes on in television, it is impossible to escape what these passages of Scripture are saying. They fit perfectly our times. The arrogance of the lost, and of those in entertainment, is seen in these passages.
WHAT IS GOING ON? WHAT IS THEIR AGENDA?
The radicals running this nation really want the consumption of the U.S. to decline to the level of the rest of the world and they want our influence in the world to be proportionate to our population. They really want elitist controlled world government running the show.
WHERE DID OBAMA COME FROM?
During some of the confusion and racial riots in our cities in 1965, Columbia University sociologists Richard Cloward and Frances Piven created a paper entitled the "Cloward-Piven Strategy" designed to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. There can be little doubt that Barack Obama knows of this paper.

I have almost felt embarrassed in my views about how unequal various cultures really are. America was founded on the Reformation/European model. No other cultures have this as the blessed background, therefore, the people who come from these viewpoints can never have the same understand about freedom, society, and what it means to be self-governed.

In my opinion, we are now into the apostasy spoken of in Scripture. And, we're seeing the death of the Western nations. This will bring about the "strong man" who will rescue the West and set up the powerful one-world government to bring military and economic stability to the world. THE DRUMBEAT GROWS LOUDER!
While in America, only 9 percent of the population look on Jews unfavorably, that figure has reached 46 percent in Europe, and growing. The Muslim population in European countries is larger and more radical. (In France, 10 percent of the people are Muslim and Arab.) In Spain, the figure before 2005 was only about half that figure, around 25 percent who hated the Jewish population. Now it is the same as in the rest of Europe, 46 percent.
THE DEATH OF CONSERVATISM
Conservatism has its roots in the principles laid out in Scripture. At the base, conservatism clings to eternal rules and principles. Morality is always the same-what is right does not change. And what is right really does not come from the soul of humanity but from the laws of God. While conservatives can slip and fall, there is always something firm to go back to. The conservative confesses, apologizes, and returns to the ever tried-and-true directives laid out in the Bible.

It closed with "We must invite God to the fray!" The brother who sent this means well but he needs to look also at the fact that God is the Author of history-He brings blessing and judgment. The question I want to ask is: "Why should God be good to America?"

WE ARE ALMOST THERE
I need to be very careful in what I write in these next few paragraphs. It is very possible that things are about to collapse far more quickly than we could have imagined. I have spent two hours talking on the phone with several economists who say that there is no way to recover from what is now taking place worldwide!

I believe that people will be coming to Christ as their Savior right up to the day of the rapture of the church. However, I know for a fact that evangelism is slowing down around the world. Many missionaries and church leaders have been telling me this for some time now.

They do not understand that every decision they make has spiritual overtones. They separate such decisions from their spiritual walk. They do not discern and think what they are doing.

I just now turned the television off after listening to Barack Obama speak to tens of thousands of young people in Berlin. Any Evangelical Christian who is a premillennial-dispensationalist realized that history has now taken a specific new direction. Obama said many things that the Bible predicts will be the direction of the Antichrist when he comes.

A well-known big Bible teacher, who heads up a school in California, takes Dr. Lewis S. Chafer to task because he quotes the apostle Paul from 1 Corinthians 2:14-3:3 when he writes that there are three types of people in the world. PASTORS NEED TO REPENT
Pastors of churches, evangelical congregations, will someday have to repent and confess how they absorbed the ways of the culture and dragged such practices into their assemblies. In so many churches today there is (1) secular psychological teaching, (2) music that is Hollywood oriented, (3) compromise in order to please a younger crowd. Their excuse is "Well, we have to do something to get the crowd into our church!" Such leaders are egotists, self-centered with humanistic ambition, proud, resting on their supposed talents of making people laugh, entertainers. To them, large crowds are a sign of spiritual success! But there will be a price to pay. Such men are cultural bound and performing to the drumbeat of the world rather than the authority of the Scriptures.

A NEW SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY?
Is it time for a re-statement of biblical doctrine for this generation? I am not referring simply to additional volumes addressing theology, but I am suggesting the need for a higher degree of militancy and relevance in what we are saying both to believers in Christ and to the culture.

THE UNBIBLICAL NATURE OF CATHOLIC DOGMA
Catholics argue that their doctrines are misquoted and misunderstood by Protestant opponents. When confronted with some of these facts, Catholics often react emotionally with, "Oh, that's not what the Church teaches!" Or, "The Church doesn't believe that anymore!" But the truth is, the teachings of Catholicism have not changed. Unfortunately, most Catholics do not receive a systematic understanding of their own faith. Because many Have been influenced by their Christian neighbors and friends, American Catholics have on their own, softened some of their own views. But of course, not all have.

No one can deny we're in a terrible spiritual conflict. Though that struggle began with the Fall of Adam, the intensity in some ways seems to be escalating. What is also disturbing is that so many believers m Christ are unaware of the issues we face. A friend recently asked a charismatic co-worker what he thought of the doctrine of the apostasy. The man looked totally puzzled and asked, "what is this thing called apostasy? And what does it mean?"
